Recently I started working with a whole leadership group of prominent dentists in my area and many of these professional practice owners struggled with trying to figure out where to find the time to create "new content" and "what kind of content" they should be creating for their website.
And if you aren't aware yet, "GOOD CONTENT" should adhere to the "3-Es":
- Educational
- Enlightening
- Entertaining
Create value with your subscribers by providing them good, solid, interesting content they can use now.
Cultivate Respect With These 6 Helpful Content Creation Ideas
What can you write about that your readers will give a thumbs up and appreciate you sending them?
Try any of these for starters:
1) Oral Maintenance Tips:
What should your readers do to keep their teeth, gums, and mouth healthy and safe… especially during the holidays. They may not be aware of all the steps they should take, so let them know.
2) Video Testimonials from Smiling & Happy Current Dental Patients:
Encourage your current patients to participate in helping new prospective patients understand the true value and satisfaction you've provided for them. Present them to your readers in an entertaining and educational way.
3) Dental Trends for 2010:
Are economics affecting the dental marketplace? Is a new technique catching on? Give your readers the inside edge, and you’ll be one of the trends they follow.
4) Interviews with the Experts:
Gather together other dental professionals (from your office and from other offices) with years of experience? Do they have a following of their own? Ask them for an interview. Get the "scoop" on how they like to perform different procedures and share their fresh perspective with your readers!
5) In-Home (Do-It-Yourself) Teeth Cleaning and Whitening Tips & Products:
Keep your readers busy and well educated on all of the various options they have for DIY dental care from home. Include photos, videos, instructions, and reviews for complete learning!
6) Dental Advice & Planning:
As an practicing dentist, you should prepare simple advice reports and planning reports that outlines important topics along with all details to consider to create your own guide for your readers!
You want to create a relationship with your readers/subscribers that will grow and cultivate with them by providing content they appreciate.
So tell them what tools will be useful, what books to read, what websites and blogs to visit. Link to products or specific service pages on your web site or provide your office address and hours to continue their proactive participation in the relationship. You should also provide links to the top social media and social networking sites to make it easy to share your information with their social circles.
In short, your readers will already respect what you have to say and expect your information to be helpful, so they’re likely to follow your suggestions.
Hope this helps… btw, you can apply these 6 tips to ANY business or niche… just get creative.
